Diagnosis

Antennal scrobes join below frontal suture; mesoscutum with engraved and weak reticulation; scutellum predominantly smooth and shiny; mesoscutum black with metallic bluish-green tinges, scutellum metallic dark purple; propodeal callus with three setae; femora metallic bluish-green; tibiae yellowish-brown.

Biology

Bruchidae indet. (Coleoptera), Parapechtis bazani Blanchard (Hymenoptera: Braconidae) on Alabama argillacea Hbn (Lepidoptera: Noctuidae); from a pupa of Eurema sp. (Lepidoptera: Pieridae); from a pupa of Euselasia sp. (Lep., Riodinidae); from diptera pupa, probably Parthenoleskia parkeri (Diptera: Tachinidae). Records from Eurema and Euselasia possibly through a primary parasitoid. Hyperparasitoid.
